Nidhi Gaur has been working with children in various capacities within academic, research and professional spheres for nearly two decades. Presently, she is working with Ektara Trust, Takshila’s Centre for Children’s Literature and Art.

Her doctoral study, ‘Gender and Craftwork in Rural Society: Role of Education’, examines the potential of craft based education to influence the gender socialization of rural children. Her research interests include Gandhi’s Nai Talim, environment education, science pedagogy, and gender studies.
