Menaka Raman is the author of a number of books for children including picture books, chapter books and two middle grade novels. Her book Loki Takes Guard won the Valley of Words Award for Writing for Young Adults. Her short stories have appeared in anthologies published by Penguin, Speaking Tiger and Scholastic India. She has written on parenting and children’s books for some of India’s leading newspapers.
