Meet the Winner of the Inaugural Climate Fiction Prize

Nigerian writer Abi Daré won the first Climate Fiction Prize for her novel And So I Roar. The Essex-based author’s winning novel is a follow-up to her acclaimed debut, The Girl with the Louding Voice.

The story revolves around Adunni, the adolescent runaway who dreams of getting an education and seeks refuge in Tia. A knock on the door changes the course of her life. Environmental changes seep into the lives of people in a village called Ikati and climate injustice provokes a chain of crises.
