Santhosh Jayaram is Prof of Practice at Amrita School of Sustainable Futures, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetam. He also functions as Advisor – Sustainability for HCL Technologies. He also advises couple of start-ups in the sustainability space.

His work in the space of sustainability spans across 3 decades, 20 countries and multiple sectors. He has helped the early-stage development of standards in the field of sustainability functioning as a member in the standard development committees of GRI and AccountAbility. He was a member of the ESG advisory committee, and also the Social Stock Exchange advisory committee set up by Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In his previous role as partner at KPMG, he developed the biggest consulting team in the space of sustainability and CSR not just across the global KPMG network, but also across all peers in South-Asia. Some of the work he has done for clients when at KPMG, are documented case studies with leading academic institutes like Harvard and INSEAD.
